Student Entrepreneurs: Eat Cupcakes and Make Millions In College

Tastes like success!
Working nine to five? Making minimum or damn near close to it? Time to get off your keesters and march right down to the local patent office and trademark an awesome and original idea. The college student who hatches into a second year entrepreneur seems just as common as you working at the shoe store or pizza place down the street.
Enter Johnny Cupcakes. A multi-millionaire giving lectures at fashion design schools across the land and keeping his original work out of major chain stores by opening his own stores. True story. Johnny whatshisname started screen printing t-shirts with the moniker (I’ll lay off that word) Johnny Cupcakes and the cupcake-kid’s business has taken off. Whodathunkit coming from a college drop-out?
Now, now. Not all of you know how to screen print and not all of you are blessed with a delicious pastry name to boot. However, I’m sure all of you wish you were making money and doing something you at least half enjoy. Such is the wish of the world. There are tons of ways to get off your butt and get into a job or career you love. Not only this, but there are organizations and (dare I say it) competitions that will allow you to promote and market your awesome idea while they take care of almost all your marketing. Of course putting up some marketable status updates, tweets, or MySpace bulletins doesn’t hurt.
Some college entrepreneurs are trying to get artists and art dealers to meet up and sell artwork for an agreeable price. An agreeable seller’s fee and trying to make high end art more affordable and available to the middle class is also an aspiring goal. Other ambitious students are working to make biking and a fit lifestyle commonplace and more affordable. Other such young hopefuls wish that trees weren’t destroyed anymore just so people can immediately throw away a receipt they were just handed. About here is where the invention of digital receipts (I’m pretty partial to that one) comes in. There’s gotta be some way for your idea to reach fruition. Now, go out into that crazy, wacky, world and make a million dollars!
Oh, and don’t forget to go to class.
STUDY HARD!
