Car-schmar!
Face it, not having a car on campus can be tough. The last place you want to be caught at night in these winter months is waiting at the bus stop.
Now you don’t have to wait around at the bus stop wondering whether the bus will come or not. Large university campuses aren’t going to leave us guessing whether or not the bus will arrive on time any more. Instead students can easily use the internet to track the bus. The electronic GPS system allows students to see where the bus is at the moment and how many minutes longer it will take for the bus to reach the stop.
This GPS addition will help a lot with time management. Students will be able to better budget their time and not feel rushed or anxious about missing the bus and having to wait an extra twenty minutes. Rather than wait at a freezing stop, students can stay inside until a few minutes before the bus arrives.
The bus system on campus can be helpful when the dorms are located over a half hour from classes and student centers. It also allows students to avoid expensive parking passes and hefty parking fines. An additional perk is that it’s environmentally friendly! Some of the buses on campus now run on hydrogen and are called “Zero Emission Fuel Cell Hybrids.”
Using the bus system on campus just became a whole lot easier. Now you can leave your car at home, and continue to go out at night. Be safe, don’t wait at the bus stop and guess, use the online GPS!
