Grad Students Consider Unionizing

Helping teachers in and out of the classroom while applying themselves to their own studies is hard work; so, why aren’t graduate students given the right to unionize? Is it because they do not earn much money for their work? Frankly, being able to unionize seems like it would at least be a bit of compensation to earn for working for little pay. Take away the title “grad student” and the job is similar to that of an instructional assistant.
